2. Core Function
Continuously monitor real-time oxygen concentration output by oxygen concentrators, feed concentration data to main control PCB.
Trigger low/high oxygen concentration alarm to remind abnormal gas output and ensure safe oxygen inhalation for patients.
Support long-time uninterrupted operation of medical ventilators, anesthesia machines and infant incubators for stable oxygen monitoring.
Solid ceramic structure avoids electrolyte leakage, no frequent replacement required, only simple regular calibration.
Supports equipment self-check function; feeds abnormal chip signal back to ECU to activate device fault reminder.
3. Working Principle
This sensor relies on zirconia ion conduction and diffusion limiting current theory:
Built-in platinum heater heats zirconia ceramic to 600–700°C to form oxygen ion conductive medium.
Oxygen molecules pass through tiny diffusion limiting holes to the cathode electrode, limited by fixed diffusion rate.
Fixed driving voltage pushes oxygen ions to migrate from cathode to anode through zirconia electrolyte to form pumping current.
When oxygen diffusion reaches saturation, the current stays at a stable limiting value, which changes linearly with oxygen volume fraction.
Peripheral circuit collects the limiting current value and converts it into standard oxygen concentration data for equipment display and judgment.
