Core Function Continuously detect engine lubrication oil pressure during cold start, idling and high-load operation. Transmit oil pressure data to ECU to judge normal lubrication state of crankshaft, camshaft and bearings. Trigger red oil pressure warning lamp on instrument panel when oil pressure is too low to prevent engine seizure and wear failure. Support ECU fault diagnosis: detect circuit open/short circuit, oil pump failure and oil leakage, store corresponding DTC trouble codes. Working Principle Most products adopt piezoresistive sensing technology: Engine oil pressure acts on the metal sensitive diaphragm and causes slight elastic deformation.
